Program Basics & Learning

Our program covers comprehensive mobile game analytics including player behavior analysis, monetization tracking, retention metrics, and A/B testing methodologies. You'll work with real game data sets, learn SQL for game databases, understand user acquisition funnels, and master tools like Unity Analytics, GameAnalytics, and custom dashboard creation. The curriculum includes hands-on projects analyzing actual mobile game performance data from various genres including puzzle games, RPGs, and casual mobile titles.
The full program runs for 18 months with flexible pacing options. Most students dedicate 8-12 hours per week to coursework and projects. We offer both intensive tracks (12 months) and extended tracks (24 months) depending on your schedule. The program starts in September 2025 with rolling admissions opening in March 2025. You'll have lifetime access to course materials and updates as the mobile gaming industry evolves.
No previous gaming industry experience is required, though basic comfort with spreadsheets and data helps. We start with foundational concepts and gradually build complexity. About 40% of our students come from completely different fields including retail, healthcare, and education. We provide preparatory modules covering basic statistics and database concepts. However, strong analytical thinking and genuine curiosity about player behavior patterns are essential for success in this field.
You'll master industry-standard tools including Unity Analytics, GameAnalytics, Amplitude, and Firebase Analytics. We also cover SQL databases, Python for data analysis, Tableau for visualization, and Excel for reporting. Students learn to work with mobile measurement partners like AppsFlyer and Adjust for attribution analysis. All software licenses are included in your program fee, and you'll have access to sandbox environments with real mobile game data for practice projects.

Enrollment & Technical

Our primary intake for 2025 begins September 15th, with early enrollment starting July 1st. We also offer a smaller cohort starting in February 2026 for those who miss the September deadline. Application deadlines are June 30th for September intake and December 15th for February intake. We recommend applying early as spots are limited to maintain small class sizes and personalized attention from instructors.
You'll need a computer with at least 8GB RAM, stable internet connection, and ability to install software. Windows 10/11 or macOS 10.15+ are supported. Mobile analytics work requires multiple monitors which we recommend, though not mandatory. We provide cloud-based environments for heavy computational work, so older computers can still participate. Technical support is available during business hours, and we have loaner laptops for students facing hardware difficulties.
The program is primarily online with optional in-person workshops in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane quarterly. Online students receive the same curriculum and support as those attending workshops. We host virtual networking events monthly and maintain active discussion forums. Industry guest speakers join via video conference, and group projects are conducted through collaborative online platforms. About 80% of our students participate entirely online with excellent outcomes.
Assessment combines practical projects, peer reviews, and portfolio development rather than traditional exams. You'll complete monthly analytics reports on real mobile games, participate in group case studies, and build a comprehensive portfolio showcasing your analytical skills. Final assessment involves presenting insights from a major mobile game dataset to industry professionals. Progress is tracked through completed modules, project submissions, and peer feedback scores.
